VIABZ (KINASTIC) believes in an active lifestyle and wants to make every office workers healthier - especially the not active ones - by giving them the opportunity to participate in fitness courses at their offices. Therefore VIABZ provides primary B2B Customers training sessions (live and recorded) with their around 20 personal trainers. This offering targets Workplace health management (WHM) of corporates and currently around 30 corporations are using this yearly service of around 1’000 trainings and this led to around 18’000 trainings that have been conducted.
The long term vision of VIABZ is to become «THE WHM Partner» of every company that cares about active and healthy employees. As the next reasonable intermediate step, the VIABZ Challenge has been created where employees can form a team, report their activity and compete with each others in a stimulating and fun way.
End of June 2021, the team of Axelra and the CEO of VIABZ Stefan Velikov started to work on this concept with the goal to get the average employee to move for 15 minutes every day. By using business gamification elements and reducing the complexity to arround 50 days of effort, we found a nice sweetspot.
We went live after 60 days on the 20th of August and had within 5 months 10 companies with 1400 users onboarded with fantastic results. More than 21’000 activities have been tracked with a total of more than 1 Mio Minutes (2 Years non stop Activity) and the users start to feel better during the 28 day challenge.

Motivation gets you started but only habits keep you going. So a playful approach was needed to make Stefan's idea of a VIABZ challenge possible.
For this purpose, the possibilities and framework conditions of the currently existing technical solution were exhausted to the maximum.
Conceptually, the 28 days were packed into a kind of Tour de Suisse, where teams of 4 players can form and compete with each other. The most important target behavior is the daily (=every day) movement of 15 minutes.
In just 6 weeks, the solution was built and internally tested and refined. The internal competition of three teams of 4 was also held and here you can see the winning team.
